Nello DiGiandomenico left a successful career as an IT Project Manager to pursue filmmaking full-time. In 2022 he was awarded the Kiki Bradley Scholarship as a Directing Fellow at the AFI Conservatory.
His AFI thesis, HOT SODA, is starting its festival tour while his previous short films, HARDY and HAPPY LITTLE BLUEBIRDS, garnered accolades in festivals spanning three continents. His screenplays have been recognized as top 10% entries to the Academy Nicholl Fellowships and Second Rounders at Austin Film Festival.
Nello served as the Los Feliz Neighborhood Council Treasurer and Chairman of the Cultural Affairs Committee. He was born in Schenectady, New York.
